Tammy Ratcliff Singer/Songwriter is the President and Founder of Dixie Sonshine Ministries, Inc. received Jesus into her heart at age seven and began singing and playing the piano. By the age of twelve she had written her first song. This singer/songwriter grew up singing with her mother Linda in concerts, revivals, and on radio and television. She also sang, played the piano and taught Sunday school for her father when he served as pastor. Tammy and Linda recorded their first project in 1982.
Most of their ministry has been evangelistic and outreach ministry is nothing new for Tammy. She grew up in a home where they took in those who were less fortunate. Tammy's family started their jail ministry around 1978 and many times took in those from the jail who had no place to go. Many teenagers came to live in their home. Tammy said she can't hardley remember a time when they did not have someone living in their small home and she or her brother had to share their room. This instilled the passion and love for these people that are bound in the bondage of sin. This is why today her heart goes out to these lost souls and helps those who are hurting.
Her beautiful voice caught the attention of the country music industry and she was offered a country recording contract at the age of fifteen. But because Tammy had dedicated her life to Jesus as a young child she new that her true calling was to minister for the Lord and to lead others to Christ. She believes that God gives us our gifts and talents to benefit his kingdom, to prepare people for his coming and not for our own vain ambitions. For this reason Tammy turned down what many would consider a great opportunity and continued to sing for the Lord and his glory.
About 1995 Tammy, along with her family became involved in truckstop ministry when the Lord laid it on her heart to build chapels for the truckstops. They have built one so far and will build another one as the Lord provides. They have seen many truck drivers come to the Lord.
Tammy is also involved in helping the homeless in their homeless ministry, ministering and providing for their needs spiritually and as well as physically.
Tammy is the Owner and Producer of Dixie Sonshine Productions a video production company dedicated to producing only gospel music videos.
Tammy is the Producer and Host of the Gospel music television program “Dixie Sonshine” where she also sings and ministers along with her mother Linda Ratcliff. Tammy is the manager and lead singer of the Multi Award Winning duo.
Her desire is to reach the lost, spreading the Gospel around the world whether it is in truckstops, to the homeless, or through television.

About Us
Linda Ratcliff also began her singing career at a very tender age. She was born the youngest of nine children and raised around bluegrass music which strongly influenced her style of singing. Her father John Hall was a banjo picker and played in a bluegrass band. Her entire family was was musically inclined. She was strongly influenced spiritually by her mother Sally Hall who was a spirit filled Baptist Sunday school teacher.
She Married Doyle Ratcliff when she was 19 and while he made moonshine she sang country music in her sisters "honky tonks". They had 2 children Scott Ratcliff and Tammy Ratcliff. After about 5 years of marriage Linda was born again and gave her life to God, then a few months later Doyle gave his heart to God. She stopped singing country music and started singing for the Lord and his kingdom. Doyle stopped moonshining and a few years later was called to preach.
Linda has written many songs birthed out of her personal experiences. To witness her in action as she sings and prays people into the kingdom is truly amazing. Her passion for souls has by far superceded anything this world has to offer. Linda sings alto, and at times takes on the lead. Her desire is to see lives changed and souls saved.
