Dixie Sonshine Ministries has been involved in truckstop ministry since 1995. Performing at out door singings at the truckstops in many states including Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Ga to name a few. They also sing inside the restaurants and the mobile chapels. There are some Chapels out there but not enough. God laid it on Tammy’s heart to build more of these Chapels put in among the adult video stores and the gambling casinos that are in the truck stop's parking lots. They also minister to prostitutes and hitch hikers at these truckstops.They reach thousands of truck drivers who never hear the word or step inside a church. Many do not even know the plan of salvation. The Chapels are mobile but each Chapel has a designated truck stop that it is placed at. They are converted from tractor trailers and are always open for the drivers to go in and pray. There is a Chaplain on call 24 hrs. These Chapels become the truck drivers church because they are on the road all the time; some even live in their trucks. Dixie Sonshine ministries gives away tracts, bibles, thousands of cassettes, CDs, and videos of music and preaching free to the truck drivers as they are provided to their ministry.

In 2005 God placed the desire on our hearts to reach out to
the homeless people. So we are going where they are, right on the sttreets and distributing food and other things they need, right where they are. And this is right in our own back yard. This is our heart, and we want you to join with us to help minister to not only their physical needs but most importantly their spiritual needs. You can be a part of what God is doing! Join with us today by prayer and by donation and help us show these people the love of Christ. It will take the power of Jesus to change their lives and set them free from drug addiction and alcohol and a miracle to change their lives.
